The importance of screen time and the role it plays in children’s lives has been the subject of many discussions and studies on how it impacts the development of children. During the pandemic, many parents found themselves in quarantine with their children for months on end. With no access to child care and few outdoor locations to go to, parents were now responsible for constantly taking care of, educating, and entertaining their children, and screen time became vital to many parents.
