In sum, our community likes to celebrate the holiday by eating, spending quality time with family, and getting outdoors. The beach and the lake are popular destinations for the weekend, which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. It’s also a popular weekend for conventions, festivals, and sporting events. Unfortunately, a good amount of people have to work during the holiday weekend, or may not have Monday off like most people. So long as everyone gets a chance to see family and eat some good food, though, it’s a great time of year.
